ABOUT US
The Hub is a coworking space in Downtown Plainville, Kansas, made possible by local nonprofits Downtown Plainville, Inc. and the Plainville Community Foundation. It offers entrepreneurs and remote workers a vibrant, modern environment where they can work alone or together with like-minded professionals.
You can utilize spacious, stunning work spaces to help you be productive, as well as a conference room space for training, private meetings, and collaboration. Located in the heart of Downtown Plainville, you will find yourself in the midst of a diverse local business community.
The Hub was launched through grants and sponsorships generously provided by the Dane G. Hansen Foundation, The Heartland Community Foundation, Rooks County Health Center, The Andreson Trust, the Robert & Patricia Schmidt Foundation, and Midwest Energy. Each of these organizations care deeply about Northwest Kansas and continuing to offer a quality of life that is unmatched anywhere else.
Finally, "The Hub" has unique historic meaning to this space. In the early 1900's, this building at 223 W. Mill St. was a men's ready-to-wear shop called "The Hub." It fulfilled a vital need in the community then, and we love that the name suits the space again, over 100 years later.
OUR COMMUNITY
Perfectly positioned as a bedroom community to Hays, Kansas, and halfway between Denver and Kansas City, Plainville offers individuals and families of all ages a close-knit, small town way of life in Northwest Kansas.

SPACES
The Hub is equipped with six spacious, semi-private work stations.
A comfortable lounge area in the lobby, and coffee bar in the back, are also available for use and provide a sense of community within the space.
A large conference room in the back of the building provides a quiet space for private meetings, trainings, networking events, and more.
